Abadiyeh is a municipality in the Baabda District of Mount Lebanon Governorate, Lebanon. It is located 16 kilometers east of Beirut. It is an Arabic place-name derived from the word ʿabd, meaning 'slave', 'servant', or 'worshipper'. It is often understood as the shortened form of ʿAbd Allah.
